What we collect

• Numbers you look up. Searches are logged against a hashed, non-reversible token of your IP address for rate-limiting and to surface frequently-searched numbers. We do not link searches to identities.
• Reports you submit. The report text, optional display name, and a hashed IP token (for abuse prevention). Published reports show only your display name.
• Standard server logs (IP, user agent, URL) retained briefly for security and debugging.

Advertising & cookies

The site is funded by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve personalized ads; you can control personalization at adssettings.google.com. Where required, a consent banner lets you choose before any advertising cookies are set.

Phone-number data

The numbering, carrier and complaint data we publish concerns phone numbers, not identified individuals, and comes from public sources (NANPA, FCC public records) plus moderated user submissions. If a page about your number contains personal information, use the dispute process and we will remove it.

Your rights

Depending on your state (e.g. California residents under CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, delete, or opt out of the sale/sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise any right, email hello@whocalledlookup.com.
